David Nasser

In 1979 Iran is embroiled in a bitter revolution. Untold numbers of people are being slaughtered everyday. Gas prices are skyrocketing across the world. Fear and panic grips the Mid East. David Nasser, only a boy at this time, is forced to escape his native homeland of Iran with his family. They leave everything behind but each other, escaping to the United States in hopes of beginning a new life in a vastly different culture.

In the years that follow, a young David Nasser feels isolated. He seeks acceptance from his peers, turning to everything imaginable to fit in, but always feeling like an outsider.

Today, David is one of the nation’s foremost speakers to youth with over 700,000 students held captive by his story each year. He has chosen to use his story, his amazing gift of humor, and his life as an outcast here in the United States to create a student presentation that will produce radical change in the lives of those who listen. David attacks false beliefs at their core. He knows that there needs t be a radical identity change in order for a person to escape their fear and ignorance in the areas of racism, peer pressure, violence, drugs and sex. Once exposed, David offers hope to those who need it from one who has been a hopeless outcast.

As David puts it, he’s gone from “geek to sheik” with everything against him. Therefore, there’s no reason why any student should ever think that they are not “destined for greatness”. David has the unique talent to reach the high tech, attention-lacking culture of Generation Next.

Because his worldwide speaking schedule is typically filled two years in advance, David has very little time now to speak in the schools. However, he sets aside ten days per month for school assemblies in cities where he is already scheduled to speak. Please call our offices to inquire about dates David may be coming to your city.

David, his wife Jennifer, and their two children live in Alabama.
